Training for a career in construction is still a very smart move and an Apprenticeship is a great way in - giving you a solid mixture of college and on-site training.
Even though sectors like house-building are under pressure right now, the industry needs skills for the sectors less affected by recession. There’s still a need for thousands of people to enter construction each year and help build us all a brighter future.
Whatever job you choose within the construction industry, your work will be admired by people for years to come and there are very few jobs you can say that about.

CCATF member the National Association of Shopfitters awarded apprentices from the world of shopfitting and interior contracting for excellence in the industry at their October Meeting, supported by CITB-ConstructionSkills.
SkillBuild is an anual celebration of trainee and apprentice skills. It is the largest multi-trade competition in the country for construction trainees and apprentices.
